KNOXVILLE - Herbert Lynn Blair, age 72, Knoxville, formerly of Surgoinsville died Friday, June 2, 2006 at Oak Ridge Methodist Hospital.

He lived in Knoxville for 45 years. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church, Heiskel and a member of Bright Hope Lodge #557 F&AM Masonic Temple, Fountain City for 45 years. He retired as a printer at Hodges Printing Company after 44 years service.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, McKinley and Leona Blair and brothers, Mack, Earl and Carl Blair.

He is survived by his son, Terry Blair, Knoxville; granddaughter, Nikki Elliott, Powell; brother, Ralph and wife, Joyce Blair, Rogersville; special companion, Betty Williams, Powell; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Overton Lodge #5 conducted Masonic services Sunday, June 4, 2006 in the Colboch-Price Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services followed with Rev. Carl R. Elliott officiating. Graveside services were held Monday, June 5, 2006 in the Bethel Cemetery. Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville was in charge of arrangements.
