Dora Delia "Dodie" Pass Smith was the daughter of Sidney Green Pass and Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Tate Pass. She married James "Arthur" Smith.

Mrs. J. A. Smith, 88, wife of the late Rev. J. A. Smith, who preceded her in death, Nov. 26, 1966, died in Hutcheson Memorial Hospital, Fort Oglethorpe, Friday, Dec. 5, at 2:10 p.m. She was the daughter of the late Sidney G. and Elizabeth Tate Pass.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. J. Holcomb, East Point, Ga., Mrs. Frank Robinson, Lakeview, Ga., Mrs. Holland Martin, Summerville; three sons, G. R. Smith, Chattanooga, A.M. Smith, East Point, and J.E. Smith, Decatur, Ga. Thirteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, from Summerville First Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Robert Franklin officiating. Burial was in Summerville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
J. D. Hill Funeral Home, Inc., had charge of arrangements.
