Son of Jesse and Jane Morgan.

Joseph married Nancy Ann Knapp (dau of John and Margaret Jones Knapp) in 1848. She died May 1858 in Rice Co, MN.

They had two daughters: Florence 1849-1931 and Rosie Bell 1852-1860.

Joseph Morgan's second wife was Lanah D Barricklow White Morgan.
