Trinidad Romo Padilla was born on June 15, 1925 in New Castle, CA, and passed away on Monday, September 30, 2002, at his home in Antioch, CA, surrounded by his family. He was 77.

Trinidad attended John Swett high school in Crockett before entering the Army in 1943. During World War II, he was awarded the Purple Heart, Silver & Bronze Stars and other accredited campaign medals.

Trinidad worked 27 years for Port Costa Brick Works as a truck driver and was a retired Teamsters union member. Trinidad was known for his 'Green Thumb' in gardening. He shared his fruits and vegetables with everyone. Trinidad was a generous man, always willing to give a helping hand. He was friendly, sociable, loved to travel and most important of all he had the gift to gab.

Trinidad is survived by his loving wife Juana Padilla of Antioch, devoted children Victor F. Padilla of Huntington Beach, CA, Anthony J. Padilla of San Rafael, Michael J. Padilla of San Rafael, Samuel J. Padilla of Antelope, CA, Carmen M. Leal of Rodeo, step-daughters Leticia Gonzalez of Concord, Sonia Lopwz of Antioch, step-son Omar Alvarado of Hercules, dear brother & sister Fortunato Padilla of Martinez, Marcelina Morales of Crockett and 6 precious grandchildren.

Higgins Chapel in Antioch. Celebration of Life Service: Friday October 4, 2002, at Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Antioch. Interment: Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Antioch, CA.
