Albertson, Ebenezer Albertson aged 84 years, of Vallonia passed away Tuesday evening at 7:15 o'clock at the Sunnyside sanitarium, Indianapolis. He had been in poor health since 1934 and for several years had been at Indianapolis.
The remains were brought to Vallonia this morning and funeral services will be held at the Vallonia Christian church of which he was a member, Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, the Rev C.V. Weddel of Medora officiating. Burial in the Vallonia cemetery.
Mr. Albertson was the last surviving child of Joshua and Catherine Crockett Albertson and was born September 5, 1855. He was married twice. First to Sarah Pace, who preceded him in death. In January 1891 he was united in marriage to Ellen Zimmerman who died in 1930. Surviving are three children by the first marriage, Mrs. Louis Dodge of Kelso, Wash., Emmett Albertson of Longview, Wash, and Mrs. Bertha Keister of Rossville, Ill., and five children by the latter marriage, viz: Mrs. Luther Weddell and John Albertson of Indianapolis, Miss Lillie Albertson of Vallonia, Mrs. Richard McCormick of Longview, Wash., and Dr. Frank Albertson of Trafalgar. Mr. Albertson had spent the greater part of his life in Vallonia where he followed the occupation of a farmer.
