Hezekiah Albertson died Dec 18 at the home of his half-brother T. W. Moody. He had been sick one week.
"Uncle Hez" as he was known by so many was born and reared at this place spending practically all his life here. He was seventy six years, nine months and twelve days of age.
He was united in marriage many years ago to Emaline Gleenor. To this union was born eight children. Four preceding him in death, Mille, Jack, Dora and John. Those surviving are Allen and Alfred of this place; Mrs. Richard Little, of Mitchell and Philip of Crothersville, He also leaves one brother E. P. Albertson of Vallonia; one half-brother, T. W. Moody of this place and thirty grandchildren.
He had many friends and will be missed very much. He was always at the Sunday School and Church services whenever he was home and his health permitted
He united with the Mt, Eden Church in early life and remained a member the rest of his life.
The funeral was held at the church here on Thursday Dec 19 at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Friend of Little York after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near by.
