Georgia Irene Gray
Georgia Irene Gray, 88 years and 3 months, passed away on December 20, 2003 in Anadarko.
Georgia was born August 27, 1915 in Fox to John Michael and Annie Loretta Wright Dunn. She married Jessie Joseph Gray on June 20, 1936 in Sayre. Georgia and Jesse had three children, Phil Duane Gray, Sandra Dianne Gray and Gary Michael Gray. The family moved to the Fort Cobb area in 1952. The concern and love of her extended family down through the years has been of great comfort and has been greatly appreciated by the immediate family as it is a testimony of the impact her quiet humor, kind, loving and nurturing personality had on all who knew her. Mrs. Gray was a much-loved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb for over 50 years until her health no longer allowed her to attend. Her family will miss her but they thank God for the opportunity to have had her love and influence throughout their lives.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Bellamy and husband, Larry of Fort Cobb; one son, Gary Gray of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; seven grandchildren, Mick Bellamy and wife, LaDonna of Fort Cobb, Jesse Bellamy and wife, Karen of Fort Cobb, Judy Taylor and husband, Zack of Lawton, Gregory Gray, Michael Gray, Jonathan Gray of Austin, Texas, and Gavin Gray and wife, Natasha of Austin, Texas; 10 great grandchildren, Meghan and Sarah Bellamy of Weatherford, Adam and Brett Bellamy of Fort Cobb, Jennifer of of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Garrett Gray of Austin, Texas; one sister, Glenna Hartman and husband, Herbert of Sayre; two brothers, Harvie Dunn and wife, Lou of Yakima, Washington, Vance Dunn and wife, Helen of Houston, Texas; one brother-in-law, Charley Ross Gray of Fort Cobb; several loving nieces and nephews.
