Arlene B. Pierson, 79, was a daughter of William Henry and A. Verna Littlefield Schertz. She married Harold B. Pierson on October 19, 1952, in Washington, Illinois. He passed away on May 20, 1992.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise Guth, three sons, Brentt (Janice) Pierson, Harlen (Patty) Pierson and Vaughn Pierson, two sisters, Josephine Hall and Wilma Rediger, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Vern Schertz.
Arlene was an LPN, last working at the Washington Christian Village.
She was a member of the Roanoke Mennonite Church, Maple Lawn Auxiliary, and was involved with Walk to Emmaus and Prison Ministries.
