Mrs. Dale Dubberly Albea, 72, Rockmart, died Saturday, in a Rome hospital. Mrs. Albea was born October 22, 1902 in Tattnall County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Kate Easterling Dubberly. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rockmart. Survivors include her widower, Sam Albea, Sr., Rockmart; step-mother, Mrs. Josie Dubberly, Savannah; one son, Sam Albea, Jr., Rockmart; two brothers, Hugh Dubberly, Ferguson, Mo., Jerry Dubberly, Powder Springs; four sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Anderson, Springfield, Va., Mrs. Emily Bacon, Glenville, Mrs. Belle Lawrence, Mrs. Kathryn Smith, both of Patterson; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at the First United Methodist Church in Rockmart with the Revs. P.M. Minter and Alec Poolus officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
