MISS EVA BLACK IS CALLED BY DEATH

Miss Eva Black, thirteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. K. Black, passed away at her home here on Thursday Morning after an illness of two weeks of typhoid fever.

A full account of the funeral services will be published in our next issue. The heartfelt sympathy of the whole community goes out to the bereaved ones at this their sad hour.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR EVA BLACK

Funeral services were held in the Fillmore ward chapel at 4 p.m. August 25, Bishop Robison presiding, for Eva Black, 13 years old daughter of George K. and Lucile Black, who died Aug. 24 of typhoid fever.

The speakers were Peter L. Brunson and Franklin A. Robison. The choir furnished suitable music for the occasion and Miss Jennie Christensen of Manti, a cousin of the deceased, rendered a vocal solo. The opening prayer was offered by Wells Black, Ernest Carling pronounced the benediction. A.Frank Robison dedicated the grave, interment was in the Fillmore cemetery.
