Mrs Hake Passes Away
Mrs Robert Hake passed away at her home in this city Monday morning at 9:00 o'clock after a long illness. Different members of her family have been with her in her sickness, and all care and attention had been given her.
Amelia Frye, daughter of the late John Frye and Olive Frye was born in Bellview Iowa on the 9th day of March, 1853 and came with her parents to the state of Wisconsin, during her early childhood.
She was married to Robert H Hake, who survives her in September, 1875, and to this union nine children were born, two of whom died in infancy, the surviving being Mrs John Massieon of Peru, Illinois, Mrs Wm L Leach of Amboy, Illinois,Mrs Wm E DeLap of Maywood, Illinois and Mr George Hake, Mrs Earl J Macauley, Mr Riley Hake and Mrs Chas Mann all of Platteville, Wis.
Funeral services are held at the residence on North Third Street this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
