PRETTY WEDDING OF POPULAR COUPLE

----------------

Mr. Carl Hensley and Miss Edith Hansen Wedded Yesterday at Noon

----------------

A pretty little wedding occurred Wednesday, March 3d, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hansen, west of Exira, when their daughter, Edith, was united in marriage to Carl Hensley. The affair took place at high noon. only the nearest relatives being present. Rev. Lawton performed the ceremony after which all partook of a sumptuous wedding dinner. Mr. Hensley is a son of Mrs. Minnie Hensley, of Exira, and is very highly respected by the people of our community. He has spent the most of his life here, having taken charge of the work on the farm after the tragic death of his father several years ago. He is a very steady young man and one who will be capable of overcoming the obstacles which may confront him on life's journey. The bride is well known here also and has hosts of friends in our city. To know her is to love her, and we know that Mr. Hensley has chosen wisely for his life's companion. The couple left the same day for a short honeymoon trip to Omaha and, after their return, will go to housekeeping on his mother's farm. That happiness and success may attend them as they journey thru life is the wish of their friends.
