Rincon - Eugene T. Ambrose, 75, died November 27, 2006 at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, SC. The Effingham County native was retired from Union Camp and the Civil Service. He was also a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: three sons, Paul (Dee) Ambrose of Carrolton, John Ambrose of Heflin, AL, and Mark (Elizabeth) Ambrose of Richmond Hill; a daughter, Mary Ann O'Neal of Guyton; two sisters, Gussie Nease and Ruth Seckinger of Rincon; three brothers, Hoover, George, and Laurie D. Ambrose, all of Rincon; six grandchildren, Marie Caplinger, Lavon Taylor, April Ambrose, Matthew Ambrose, Seth O'Neal, and Stephen Ambrose; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral was held 3 p.m. Thursday, November 30 in the funeral home chapel
