Final Rites For Viola D. Barfield Last Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Viola D. Barfield, Route 3, Pelham, were held at New Home Freewill Baptist Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Revs. Cecil Brock and J. E. Autry. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Barfield died Wednesday morning at Grady General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Decatur County, the daughter of the late Calvin and Mattie Wooten Dollar. She was a member of New Home Freewill Church.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford Barfield, Orlando, Fla. and Levy Barfield, Jacksonville, Fla.;
two daugters, Mrs. Robert Brinson and Mrs. John H. Bennett, Route 3, Pelham; 19 grandchildren,
34 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. L. B. Barfield of Meigs.
Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham had charge of arrangements.
