Ruth D. Conaway

GUYTON - Ruth Dasher Conaway, 85, died Tuesday at Effingham County

Hospital. She was born in Effingham County and was a member of Zion Lutheran

Church. She was a homemaker and had been a substitute teacher at Marlow

School for many years. She was a member of the Graduates' Sunday School

Class, Zion Senior Citizens, and a past member of the PTA at Marlow Consolidated School.



SURVIVORS: two sons; and three daughters-in-law, Doy E. and Kathleen

Conaway of Pooler, Paul W, and Carolyn Conaway of Springfield and JoAnn M.

Conaway of Guyton; a sister, Susan Exley of Rincon; five grandchildren and

six great-grandsons.



VISITATION: 9 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, Effingham

Chapel.



FUNERAL: 4 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, burial in the church cemetery.
