RINCON -- Susan Dasher Exley, 94, died Nov. 22 at Effingham Extended Care Facility. She was a native of Effingham County. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Joy Club and the W.E.L.C.A. She attended Rincon United Methodist Church, taught Sunday school there and was a member of the Woodrow Oglesby Sunday School Class. She taught school for a number of years in Effingham County. She was a homemaker and the widow of Alton W. Exley. SURVIVORS: two daughters and sons-in-law, LuNeil Neurath and William J. Neurath Sr. and Ethelyn and William E. Pye, all of Rincon; a son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert A. and Gail S. Exley of Rincon and Wilmington Island; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel. FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rincon United Methodist Church, burial in Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery. REMEMBRANCES: Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 2265 Central Ave., Guyton, GA 31312; or Rincon United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 107 Savannah Ave., Rincon, GA 31326.
