Morris "Morrie" Harbin

March 30, 1940 - April 4, 2011

Morris "Morrie" Harbin, 71, of Cambridge, died Monday April 4, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born March 30, 1940 in Cambridge, son of the late Carl Harbin and Ruth (Kesterson) Harbin.

Mr. Harbin retired from Variety Glass after forty years of service, where he worked as a presser.

He coached several generations of Cambridge Little League ball players in his over twenty-five years of coaching experience. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed watching the games with his family.

He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 386 of Cambridge for over forty years.

Mr. Harbin was a former member of the "We Three" band and loved playing guitar & singing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Harbin Jr., who was killed in action in Vietnam.

Family and friends called on Wednesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Thursday April 7, 2011 with Rev. Ben Mosco officiating

Morris "Morrie" Harbin, 71, of Cambridge, died Monday April 4, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born March 30, 1940 in Cambridge, son of the late Carl Harbin and Ruth (Kesterson) Harbin.
