Joe Lovell Anderson 88, died January 10, 2008. Joe was born in Harrisonburg, LA to the late Davis William and Mary Currie [sic Curry] Anderson. He was a graduate of Kelly High School, Kelly, LA and served in the Army during WWII with the rank of Tec. Sergeant. Joe was a member of Lions Club, American Legion and a 50 year member of the Phoenix Masonic Lodge. He also was a former member of the Zion Masonic Lodge #197 of Zionsville. Joe retired after more then 30 years as a Standard Oil distributor in Zionsville, Indianapolis and Southport, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife Viola Shell Anderson, daughter Suzanne Hopkins, granddaughter Amy Hopkins, step children Nancy L. Rambo, Kakie R. Lyde, step grandchildren Andrew Watts and Erin Lyde.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife Virginia Brown Anderson, Brothers Andrew and John Anderson, sisters Wanda Green and Kathryn Cantwell.

Memorial services will be held at the Brookshire Retirement Community Saturday January 19th at 7:00 pm.
