Davis W. Anderson, 77, of Kelly, died Saturday night in a Jena nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Riser and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. W. A. Massey and Rev. Franklin Jones officiating.

Burial followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery west of Clarks by Riser and Son.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary C. Anderson; three sons, Andrew Anderson of Centeralia [sic Centralia], Ill.; Joe Anderson of Indianapolis, Ind., and John C. Anderson of Anderson, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Cantwell of Olla; Mrs. Crawford Green, Montgomery; two brothers, Veston Anderson of Springhill and Bryant [sic Bryan] Anderson of Harrisonburg; three sisters, Mrs. John Bryner of Texas; Mrs. Lottie [sic Lodie] Cox of San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. Reuben Coyle of Springhill; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Travis Hargrove, L. C. Gore, Ed McDaniel, Jack Mays, Pat Duke and Sandy Caraway.
