Miriam (nee Oppenheimer) Fell died on Monday April 4, 2011 at Luther Park Assisted Living in Hatboro. She was 101 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, Miriam was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna Yost Oppenheimer. She was formerly a resident of Feasterville and Philadelphia.

Mrs. Fell was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Melrose Park.

Miriam was the beloved wife of Byron P. Fell for 61 years before his death in 1990. She was the devoted mother of Barbara (Joseph) Mortimer and Ruth (Robert) Lodwig. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her service 10:30 AM, on Wednesday April 6, 2011 at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, Street Rd. & 2nd Street Pike, Southampton. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. The interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn.

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made St. John's Lutheran Church, 1224 Melrose Avenue, Melrose Park, PA 19027-3018.
