MOCKSVILLE ~ Pauline Ireland Anderson, 82, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. She was born on February 11, 1929 in Davie County to the late Jay and Tossie Booe Ireland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jackson Anderson; children, Margaret Anderson Brown, Albert Glenn Anderson, Dianne Anderson Smith; and sister, Betty Ruth Henley. Surviving are her children, Larry (Jannie) Anderson, Johnny Dale Anderson, Terry Lee Anderson; grandchildren, Billy Joe (Pam) Brown, Jennifer (Jeff) Allen, Jamie (Rebecca) Anderson, Michael Thomas Anderson, Marty Glenn (Dan'elle) Anderson, Barry (Heather) Anderson, Brandon Gene Anderson, Candice (Ryan) Tew; eighteen great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Hutchens; brothers, Clyde Ireland, Jerry (Maratha) Ireland. Pauline loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds and her flowers grow. She loved her family and will greatly be missed. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Greg McEwen. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Memorials can be made to Gordon Hospice House, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Anderson family.
