Russell Sherrill, born in Green Co. 3 Sept 1905 died at 1:50 am Thurs. 1 Feb 1990 in Louisville as the result of an accident at her home. She was a member of the Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was united in marriage to James Sallee 11 Jun 1925, who preceded her in death on 27 Feb 1979. She is survived by 1 son and 2 daughters, Delmar Sallee and Charlotte Sallee, both of Campbellsville, and James (Eladean) Peterson of Louisville; 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters, T/Sgt. Robert L. Peterson of Anderson AFB, Guam, Pam Wright, Campbellsville, and Hollie Tischendorf, Louisville; 1 great-granddaughter and 2 great-grandsons, Charity Petersen and David Peterson, both of Anderson AFB, Guam and James Russell Tischendorf of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. The funeral was held at 4 pm Sat. 3 Feb at the Parrott And Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with the Rev. William Hancock officiating. Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Woodrow Grimes, Hoover Weatherford, Ivan Barnes, Tommy Sherrill, Nolan Benningfield and Johnny Sherrill.
