Born February 20, 1907, in Alexandria, he was a son of Melvin and Rosa Lewis. He was an employee of the National Gypsum Company, and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Lewis is survived by a daughter, Ms. Linda Lewis, a student at Ball State teachers college in Muncie; two brothers, Guy (Phala) and Earl (Louise) Lewis, both of Alexandria; a sister, Beulah (Willis) Marlow of Alexandria; and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Pauline died nine years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Davis-Stricler-Noffze Funeral Home. The Rev. Edwin Grant, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
Friends are being recieved at the funeral home.
