June Cease, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in Tulsa, OK. Born June 8, 1926, in McAlester, OK to Edwin Leroy and Ruby (Bayan) McInnes. She was a graduate of both Will Rogers High School (1944) and the University of Tulsa (1948). While it is commonplace in our era for women to earn college degrees, not that many did so at that time. She was an executive secretary for a petroleum company. Active member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and on the Board of the Guild of Interceptors. June got married to Jack Cease on April 2, 1951. They would have been sharing their 60th wedding anniversary together in just a few weeks.
