He was born in Oakland City, Indiana October 20, 1921. William is a retired truck driver from Kroger and a member of the Beech Grove Church of the Nazarene. After retirement William lived in St. Petersburg, Fl for 20 years.
He is survived by his children Esther (Willard) Messer Martinsville, In.; Russel Wayne Hedges Bradenton, Fl.; Shirley Adkins Fairland, In.; and David L. Hedges Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter, and a brother Hovey Hedges Jr.
William was preceded in death by his wife Virginia (Arnold) Hedges and daughter Martha Archer.
