Sylba "Jack" Oxford, 71, of Sapulpa, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 11, 1928 to Earl and Ada Oxford in Adair.
Mr Oxford served in the United States Army Air Corp. He married Edna Han on Sept. 3, 1949 in Tulsa.
He is Survived by his wife, Edna; children Jackie Lee Oxford of Tulsa, David Earl Oxford of Columbia, Mo, Janet Sue Taylor of Broken Arrow, and Beverly Ann Oxford of Sapulpa; a brother Elmer Oxford of Texas, sisters, Rosetta Franklin of Salina, Oklahoma and Daisy Oxford-Blum of Collinsville, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren Russell, Megan and Sarah Oxford, Matthew, Patrick, Jonathon, Abby and Emmy Oxford, Jennifer, Dee and Mandy Parrett, Alice Farmer and Timothy Oxford Dawson.
Mr Oxford was preceded in death by brother Raymon and sisters Margaret and Margie.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Thursday, June 24, 1999 in the Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
Honorary casket bearers will be grand sons, Russell, Matthew, Patrick, Jonathon, and Timothy.
