Dora Stephens Allen, 85, of Marietta, GA, formerly of Walker, WV, died Saturday November 1, 2003 at Marietta Health & Rehabilitation in Marietta, GA. She was born in Wood County a daughter of the late Samuel and Rosetta Hyde Jenkins.

She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church until she moved to Marietta in 1986; while living in Marietta, she attended East Cobb United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three children Dr. James F. Stephens of Laurinburg, NC, Wilma Stephens Conrad of Marietta, GA, and Norma Stephens Dean of Lake City, FL; two brothers Howard B. Jenkins of Bluefield, WV, and Denzil Jenkins of Vienna, WV; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Cecil Stephens; her second husband Holly Allen; her son William J. Stephens; two sisters Lulla Layman and Nellie Meade; and three brother Okey, Kenneth, and Clyde Jenkins.

Services will be Wednesday 2:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Charles Pullins officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Walker with Reverend David Hyde officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
