Maude Arnold Dunn

Maude Arnold Dunn, age 89 of Whitney, Texas died August 30, 1995 in a local hospital. Funeral services were Friday, September 1, 1995 at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney, Texas with the Reverend Marvin R. Moore officiating.
Mrs. Dunn was born on December 22, 1905 in Hill County. She was the daughter of A.L. and Julie Ellen (Burton) Halford. She lived in Baytown for 5 years. She spent most of her life in Hill County. She married Louie Arnold on September 19, 1924. He died in 1954. She then married Virgil Dunn on December 21, 1957. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1986. She worked for the Tax offfice in Hillsboro and taught school in Hill County. She was a member of King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by two step-sons, Travis Weldon Dunn of Lake Jackson, Texas and Joe L. Dunn of Point Blank, Texas; one sister, Nettie Mae Hayes of Austin, Texas, one sister-in-law, Juanita Arnold of Whitney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
