Funeral services for Virginia Lewis, 70, of Crossville, who passed away April 24, 1999, were scheduled for today, April 27, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Putnam-Reed Funeral Home in Pikeville, with burial in Thomas Springs Cemetery.
She was born March 9, 1929, in Cumberland County, the daughter of George Mitchell Bolin and Mary Jane Sapp Bolin.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Whitcomb of Crossville; stepdaughter, Johnnie Mae Yoeman; sons, Jimmie, Jackie and Stanley Lewis, all of Crossville; stepson, Don Lewis of Crossville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Cora Warner and Ova Lewis, both of Crossville; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quillie Lewis; daughters, Sandra Lewis and Roberta Smith; and stepsons, Frank and Harvey Lewis.
Putnam-Reed Funeral Home in Pikeville was in charge of the arrangements.
