Ova Elvera Lewis, 94, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 7, 2003. Funeral services were conducted Nov. 10 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Thomas Springs Cemetery. Bro. David Rowan officiated.
Mrs. Lewis was born Dec. 19, 1908 in Cumberland County, TN, the daughter of Mitchell Bolin and Mary Jane Sapp Bolin.
She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Lewis and Wanda Lewis, both of Crossville; sons, Joe Lewis of Crossville, Jessie Lewis of Rock Island, TN and James Lewis of Crossville; and sister, Cora Warner of Crossville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Lewis; sisters, Ollie Mae Bolin, Hettie Bolin, Vesta Vanwinkle and Virginia Lewis; and brothers, Ralph and Richard Bolin.
Pallbearers were Keith Lewis, James Lewis, Terry Lewis, Cloyd Lewis, Bill Potter and Joey Davis.
Honorary pallbearers were Steve Warner and Stanley Lewis.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
