HOMER BOLIN
Funeral services for Homer Bolin, 80, of Crossville, who passed away April 20, 1997 in Cumberland Medical Center, were held on April 23 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Thomas Springs Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 25, 1917 in Cumberland County, the son of Arthur and Lola Troglin Bolin. Mr. Bolin was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Lula Bolin of Crossville; sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Diana Bolin of Cleveland, Ohio, Carlos and Kathy Bolin of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Gary and Linda Bolin of Elyria, Ohio; daughters and sons-in-law, Treva and Randy Whalen of Hyattville, Ohio, Mary and Roger Cook of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Peggy and David Weisheit of Golden, Colo.; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers Everett, J.V. and Cecil Bolin, all of Crossville; and sisters Agnes Harwedel of Crossville, Lucille Pierce of Panama City, Fla., and Bobbie Howard of Tullahoma, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by sons Creed and Terry Bolin.
Pallbearers were grandsons Scott Bolin, Samuel Bolin, Randy Whalen, Jason Bolin, Steven Cook and Brent Bolin.
Bros. Will Hugh Campbell and Ricky Lewis officiated, with special music by Kathy Bolin and Carl Tucker. Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
