Mrs. Mildred H. Arvin
LA GRANGE, Ky, Jan. 17. - Mrs. Mildred Hawkins Arvin, 76 years old, wife of Robert Arvin, of Westport, die suddenly at her home Thursday evening at 6:45 o'clock of acute indigestion. Mrs. Arvin had seemed in her usual health, ate heartily at the dinner table and enjoyed working on a quilt in the afternoon until she was stricken. She died before a physician could reach her.
Mrs. Arvin was born and lived all her life in or near Westport and was a member of the Westport Baptist church since early in life.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Wheeler Garriott and two sons, Raymond and Curtis Arvin, with seven grandchildren, all of Oldham county.
Funeral services will be held at the Westport Baptist church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, with the pastor, the Rev. George Baker, in charge. Burial will follow in the Valley of Rest, La Grange.
