Adolph "Ady" Berger MIAMI, FL Adolph J. "Ady" Berger, 81, passed away at his home in Miami on March 25, 2011. He was born December 1, 1929 in Milton Borough, Northumberland County, PA, to Joseph and Sadie Berger.
He was a pure, righteous and honorable man who brought grace to the world. He graduated with master's degrees from the Tuck School of Business and the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. He leaves his wife and loving partner of 55 years, Helene Reiback Berger. He was a proud and devoted father to Dr. Mark Berger (Dr. Victoria Greene Berger) and to Dr. Bonnie Berger (Dr. Tom Leighton) and loving grandfather to Emily and Madeline Berger and to Alexander and Rachel Leighton. Ady came to South Florida in 1957 and founded Pasadena Homes together with his brotherin-law, Leonard Miller. Together they built the company into one of Broward County's leading home builders and land developers. He was president of the South Florida Builders Association and served on numerous charitable and community organizations over the years, including the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
