Husband of Katherine Maude "Kitty" (Johnson) Clark (1868-1930). They were married on September 25, 1887 in Page County, Iowa. Asberry was the son of John Clark and Elizabeth (Little) Clark. He was the father of Floyd Dennis, Cleo, Fred Little and Homer Johnson Clark.

Please note: Asberry's first name was also spelled, Asbury. Interestingly, there appears to be two headstones for him in this cemetery - one with each spelling.

Obituary:

"Asbury B. Clark, 86, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Dunham, 209 South Adams street. The son of John and Elizabeth Clark, he was born at Freedom, Iowa, September 5, 1861]. He had been a resident of Ottumwa for 46 years. He married Katherine Johnson September 25, 1887, and she died August 28, 1930. Mr. Clark is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Dunham; three sons, Floyd, Fred and Homer J. Clark, all of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a sister, Mrs. Belle Rash of Derby. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, the Rev. Charles B. Willming of Springville in charge. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pete Deitch, William Hoskins, Clint Rhoads, Dale Helwig, Robert Fisher and John Sauern."
