Daniel Thomas Davis was born in Warren Co., Ohio, March 13, 1821. Died Sept. 14, 1904, aged 83 years six months and one day. He was converted and joined the Methodist church at the age of 18 years, and was an efficient Steward, Class Leader and Sunday School Superintendant for many years. He leaves two sons (James H. & Edgar) and one daughter (Mary L. Spurrier), one brother (Samuel H.) and two sisters (Mary Hanshaw & Julia Harding) to mourn his departure. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Louisa in 1852, and Rebecca in 1872; three sons (one infant in 1858, John R. in 1864 and George A. in 1879); his parents, Silas & Phebe; five brothers, John W., James A., Asa W., Eli H. & Jonathan G; and one sister, Hannah B. Elliott.
