Gladys Butler Brown, age 95 of Loretto, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at NHC Brink following a brief illness.

She was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, a homemaker and a member of the Loretto Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Brown.

Survivors include her daughter: Peggy Brown Gambel and husband Jerry of Loretto; sister: Pauline Butler of Bonnertown; two grandsons: Marty Gambel and wife Amanda and Wes Gambel and wife Heather, all of Loretto; five great-grandchildren: Shania, Clay, Abby, Savannah, and Katelyn; sisters-in-law: Juanita Patt, Viola Butler, and Nella Reha Brown; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Gladys Butler Brown were conducted at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 4 at 1 p.m. with Don Spencer and Gary Hughes officiating. Interment followed in Restview Cemetery. Loretto Memorial Chapel was in charge of all arrangements.
