Willie "Bill" Butler Sr., 83, of Leoma, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Crockett Hospital.
Services were conducted Monday at Neal Funeral Home with Leslie Shadrick and Greg Lee officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens of Lawrenceburg.
The Lauderdale County, Ala., native was the son of the late Eva Davis Butler and Robert Henry Butler Sr. He was a retired electrical inspector and a farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Leoma Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Hammond Butler of Leoma; sons, Willie Butler Jr. and Jim Butler, both of Leoma; daughters, Pamela Hodges of Mt. Juliet and Melba Brown of Leoma; sisters, Gladys Brown of Loretto and Pauline Butler and Earline Butler, both of Five Points; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
