Source: Charts made in 1930's and 1940's by Bertha Palmer for ancestors of Rosamond and Margaret Lane, which according to the latter, were based on a compilation by William Coolidge Lane, mainly in the years 1896-1905, with some work up until 1925, for the Lanes and the Palmers . A more recently discovered chart in the hand of the latter bears out Margaret Lane's statement that the original work was by Mr. Lane. The Gage papers indicate that Bertha Palmer also did original work. In 1945 Bertha Palmer sent a copy of the charts to the New England Historic Genealogical Society, where it remained in 1994. It is entitled, "The Pedigree of Margaret and Rosamond Lane".
