Obituary.

Again the death Angel has visited the home and taken a loved one. John McReynolds was born near Uniontown, Pa., March 12, 1834, died Oct. 8, 1912, aged 78 years, 6 months and 26 days. He was united in marriage to Mary A. Vance Oct. 4, 1860 by Rev. G W. Taylor. To them were born three sons and one daughter, all of whom are living, Frank L., of Columbus, R.B. and W. D., of Gerlaw, Ill., and Mrs. C. A. Lemon, of New Market. He united with the Baptist church at New Market, April 1865 and was baptized by Rev. Joseph Smith, pastor of the church at that time. Bro. McReynolds was a faithful member of the church, never missing a church service when at home and able to go. He was a teacher in the Sabbeth school for years and was held in high esteem by his class. He was a fine mechanic, many building standing as a living witness to his memory. He held the office of Justice of the Peace in his township for many years. Besides his children, he leaves an aged companion-to mourn the loss of a kind and devoted husband and father and three brothers who live in the west.

Sunset and evening star.
And one clear call for me.
And may there be no moaning of tbe bar,
When I put to Sea.

Twilight and evening bell
And after that the dark;
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark.

For tho from out our bourne of time and place.
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face,
When I have crossed the bar,"
T. R. V.
