McReynolds was a faithful member of the church, never missing a church service when at home and able to go. He was a teacher in the Sabbeth school for years and was held in high esteem by his class. He was a fine mechanic, many building standing as a living witness to his memory. He held the office of Justice of the Peace in his township for many years. Besides his children, he leaves an aged companion-to mourn the loss of a kind and devoted husband and father and three brothers who live in the west.
Sunset and evening star.
And one clear call for me.
And may there be no moaning of tbe bar,
When I put to Sea.
Twilight and evening bell
And after that the dark;
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark.
For tho from out our bourne of time and place.
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face,
When I have crossed the bar,"
