Beecher City — Mrs. Noah (Edna) Barr, 68, a lifelong resident of Beecher City, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Memorial hospital where she had been the past several weeks.
She was born in Loudon township on Dec. 14, 1901, a daughter of Bert and Alice Mahon Light.
Surviving are her husband, Noah; daughter, Mrs. Lucille Jones of Herrick; sons, Walter of Decatur; Cecil of Mt. Zion; Darcy of San Diego, Calif.; Dewey of Decatur and Kenneth of Herrick; sisters, Mrs. Sadie Hudson of Decatur and Mrs. Jessie Carney of Houston, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ at Beecher City with burial in Beecher City cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cook funeral home anytime after 1 p.m. Friday.
