Graveside services for Floyd Conner, 84, of Lufkin, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006, in the Whitehouse Cemetery. He passed away Monday, January 23, 2006, in a local hospital.
Floyd was born February 14, 1921, in Angelina County, Texas, the son of the late Joanna (Kennedy) and William A. Conner.
Floyd was a blessing to his family. He was always happy, and always knew who everyone was. He loved cars.
Survivors include his guardian, Susan Ward; sister, Versa McClendon; sister-in-law, Gertrude Conner; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his sisters, Erma Atkinson, Flora Dell Clinton and Willie Hunt; and brother, Guy Conner.
