Mrs. Avanell Ford Hankins, 91 a resident of Salem Nursing Center, went to her Heavenly Home Thursday, March 24, 2011.

She was born on August 17, 1919 to the late Thomas Noah and Minnie Lee (Clements) Ford of Wooster. Also preceding Mrs Hankins in death are two husbands: Leo Browning and Elbert Hankins; two brother: Tollie F. Ford and Arch Ford and three sisters: Bina Moore, Ola Glover and Floy Berry.

Mrs. Hankins graduated from Greenbrier High School and for ten years worked in the Wooster Post Office. She was a member of Wooster First Baptist Church and the Damascus Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by a son Tommy Browning and wife Peggy; granddaughter, Christy Wallace and husband Mike; grandson Tommy Lynn Browning and wife Tammy, all of Wooster. She also leaves three precious great grandchildren, Kayle Browning, Paxton and Cayden Wallace.

Services for Mrs. Hankins will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 28th, at Wooster First Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Pryor and Rev. Bobby Gilmore officiating.

Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, Sundasy, March 27th, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
