Childress - Louise Ord, 93, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, in Dallas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Ord was born in Galveston. She was an artist and lived in Childress 60 years. She moved to Dallas in February. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Childress. She married John Herren in 1928. He died in 1967. She married Paul Ord. He died in 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Bennett of Fort Worth; a son, Fred Herren of Corpus Christi; a stepson, James Paul Ord of McKinney; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
