Joseph Ferguson

Joseph Ferguson, aged 58, of 2635 Taylor St., died suddenly of a heart attack at 7 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Ferguson was born in Youngstown July 7, 1891, a son of Henry E. and Betsy Hamer Ferguson and was employed in the plant protection division of Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corporation's Ohio Works. He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.

Besides his wife, the former Elizabeth R. Peroney, whom he married 35 years ago, Mr. Ferguson leaves three sons, Elvin and Clem, both of Youngstown, and Warren of Windham, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Chester Riley and Mrs. Charles Melhado, both of Youngstown and Miss Norine at home; five brothers, Richard, William, Henry, Alexander, and Thomas, all of Youngstown; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Moss, Mrs. John Bobovnyk, and Mrs. John Morthland, all of Youngstown, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Weller Funeral Home where friends may call this evening 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Tuesday evening.
