Services for Agee Forsythe, 82, of Knippa, TX, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Horace Fletcher, Rev. A. M. Stone and Rev. David Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Knight Cemetery.

Mr. Forsythe was born June 11, 1914, in Angelina County, and died Wednesday, April 23, 1997, in Uvalde. Mr. Forsythe was a retired stationary engineer for Houston Endowment.

Survivors: wife of 61 years, Violent; sons, Manuel, John R.; daughters, Nelda Lawrence, Glenda Wade, Sarah Warren, Patricia Allen; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene.
