Andrew McKenzie Souter, the year is unknown but he looks to be about 25-30 years old. He was killed in the shipwreck Thracian, 1892; 12 days short of turning 39.

The Loss of the "Thracian" Off the Isle of Man | A copy of the antique print of an artist's rendering of how the Thracian may have appeared before capsizing. It was published in the "Graphic", an illustrated weekly newspaper, 27 Aug 1892 in England.

The Sarah Jolliffe | Tugboat that attempted to tow the Thracian Ship that capsized. Capt. Owen Jones had to cut tow rope to keep tug and all on board from sinking too. It remained in operation from 1890-1924. —Photo by W. B. Hallam
