Estherville – Funeral services for Mildred M. Hipple, 83, of Estherville will be held Tuesday, December 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home Chapel in Estherville with Dr. Mike Thiel officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville. She died Saturday, December 10 at Rosewood Manor Care Center in Estherville.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, December 12 at the funeral home.

She was born May 25, 1911 in Estherville, the daughter of Harvey G. and Jessie R. (Smith) Hipple, and received her education in the Estherville schools.

She lived most of her life in Estherville. During World War II, she lived in California and was employed by a defense plant. After the war, she returned to Estherville to care for her parents and was employed by the Soo Valley Fish Line. She became a resident of Rosewood Manor Care Center on July 1, 1990. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Estherville.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
