HUSBANDS: Ivan Bacon - 1st marriage
Clyde Monroe Phelps - 2nd marriage

Lillian (Hayes) Phelps, 71, died Saturday, April 9, at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.
She was born May 30, 1905 in Georgetown to Joseph and
Elizabeth Smit Hayes. She married Clyde Phelps January
9, 1928 in Paris.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and
worked in the Second Ward Relief Society many years,
serving in all positions, including president. For
many years, She worked as a cook for the old folks banquet
and later served at the senior citizens center.
Mrs. Phelps was also active in the Georgetown
chapter of the American War Mothers She served as
president of that organization and was state chairman
of the Gold and Silver Star.
Survivors include her widower of Montpelier; two
sons, Dean R. Phelps, Wurtsmith AFB, in Michigan, and Kyle
H. Montpelier; one daughter, Mrs. Dayton (Gae) Dimick,
Montpelier; two brothers, W. W. Hayes and
Lilburn Hayes, both Georgetown; three sisters, Mrs. William (Lillis) Johnson,Georgetown, Mrs. Ed (Maude) Crobett, Salmon, and Mrs. Evva Dalrymple, Soda Springs; one half brother, Boyd Dimick, Bellflower, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 12, at 1 p.m.
in the Montpelier Second Ward Chapel with Bishop Boyd Smart conducting.
Interment was in the Montpelier Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Randy Payne, Todd Johnson, Russell Johnson, Albert Johnson and Rusty Dimick.
Dedication of the grave was by Lewis Humpherys direction of Matthews Mortuary.
The family prayer was given by David J . Gerber. The invocation was by Wesley Williams, and the benediction
was by Walter Rohner.
The prelude and postlude music was by Renee Bird. The Second Ward Choir sang "Though Deepening Trials" and "The King of Love My Shepherd Is ", and Ruth Kay Andersen, accompanied by Renee Bird, sang "Somewhere My Love".
The obituary was by Bishop Boyd Smart and speakers were J .

Lillian's twin sister was Lillis.
