Daisy B. Hensley, 84, Montgomery City, died Monday, December 11, 1995.
She was born on February 15, 1911 in Callaway County, a daughter of Samuel Darwin and Nellie Elizabeth Bryant Hensley. She married Samuel Dunlap Hensley on May 29, 1931. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1983.
She accepted Christ at a very young age and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montgomery City. She had been a resident of Montgomery City since her marriage.
Survivors include one daughter, LeNell (Marion) Britt of Montgomery City, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters, two sisters, Mae Branch and Eunice Ismay, both of Fulton, a sister-in-law, Alberta Hudnall of Denver, Colorado, two daughters-in-law, Maurine Hensley of Brisbane, California and Nettie Hensley of Henderson, Nevada and an aunt, Kate Malicoat of Montgomery City.
Services will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, December 13, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City. The Reverend Robert L. Hawkins will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Montgomery City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Montgomery City.
