Mrs. Nellie G. May, 90, widow of David C. May, died at the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Tuesday following an extended illness.
She was born in Delaware County, the daughter of Ephraim and Melinda Jane McKinley Smith and spent most of her life in this community. Mrs. May had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Richard A. (Orthella) Ten Eick, 6140 Hollister Dr., Indianapolis, since 1960.
Mrs. May was a member of the Speedway Baptist Church and a former member of the Normal City E.U.B. Church.
Surviving besides Mrs. Ten Eick are a granddaughter, Mrs. Paul (Carol) Thomas, Danville; and a great-granddaughter, Lisa Marie Thomas.
Meeks Mortuary will announce arrangements later.
